Ropes & Gray Provides Regulatory Counsel to Biomet in Acquisition by Zimmer Holdings

Ropes & Gray served as regulatory counsel to Biomet Inc. in connection with the proposed merger, announced April 24, in which Zimmer Holdings Inc. will acquire Biomet.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Neill Jakobe (Chicago), government enforcement partner Laura Hoey (Chicago), life sciences partner Michael Beauvais (Boston), and health care counsel Allison Fethke (Chicago).
