Ropes & Gray LLP advised Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Nordea in connection with the €1.45 billion financing of Nordic Capital’s acquisition of a majority stake in Norway-based Lindorff, one of Europe’s leading providers of debt-related administrative services.
The firm’s finance team, led by London-based partner Michael Kazakevich, advised the investment banks on the financing commitments provided to Nordic Capital and the subsequent high yield offering. The transaction represents the first completed underwriter-side mandate for the firm’s London office after a series of landmark issuer-side transactions, including the financings for Numericable’s acquisition of SFR and Liberty Global plc’s acquisition of Virgin Media.
