Ropes & Gray Advises TransFirst on Planned IPO

TransFirst Inc., a merchant acquirer and payments technology and services provider for small- and medium-sized businesses in the United States, announced on July 30 that it has publicly filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Ropes & Gray represented TransFirst in the filing, and the team included private equity partner Carl Marcellino (New York), executive compensation & employee benefits partner Jonathan Zorn (Boston), and tax partner Leo Arnaboldi (New York).
