Bauer Performance Sports to Acquire Easton-Bell’s Baseball, Softball Brands

Ropes & Gray represented Easton-Bell on the $330 million sale of the Easton baseball and softball business in a deal announced on Feb. 13.  Easton-Bell Sports will retain the Easton Hockey and Easton Cycling businesses.

The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.

The Ropes & Gray deal team was led by New York-based private equity partner Carl Marcellino and intellectual property partner Edward Black, counsel Thomas Burke, and associate Nathaniel Kurtis; and counsel Patricia Lynch; antitrust partner Michael McFalls and counsel Deidre Johnson; executive compensation & employee benefits counsel Allie Alperovich; corporate associate Audrey Stern and corporate law clerk Sean Childers.
