Law360 Names Ropes & Gray “Privacy Group of the Year”

Law360 has recognized Ropes & Gray’s privacy & data security practice as “Privacy Group of the Year” for the second consecutive year. In a Jan. 14 article announcing the honor, Law360 noted that Ropes & Gray “maintained a leadership position in some of the most closely watched data security and privacy cases of 2013,” and quoted privacy & data security partner Douglas Meal on a number of privacy-related subjects. Ropes & Gray’s privacy & data security practice was recognized for leading representations for clients such as Genesco, Target, Media Innovation Group, Wyndham Hotels, Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. and Stanford University, among others.
