A cross-practice team of Ropes & Gray attorneys represented Kohlberg & Company, L.L.C., and Phillips-Medisize Corporation in the definitive agreement to sell Phillips-Medisize to Golden Gate Capital. Terms of the transaction, which was announced on May 7, were not disclosed. Based in Hudson, Wis. and owned by funds managed by Kohlberg, Phillips-Medisize is a global provider of design and manufacturing services to the medical and commercial markets.
