Ropes & Gray Advises TPG in Investment in Online Learning Company lynda.com
Ropes & Gray attorneys represented leading global private investment firm TPG in its investment in lynda.com, a subscription-based online learning company, in a deal announced Jan. 14. TPG led the $186 million total investment round, which included participation from existing backers of the Carpinteria, Calif.-based learning service.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Jason Freedman (San Francisco) and included employee benefits partner Loretta Richard (Boston).
