Ropes & Gray advised leading digital advertising firm Titan Outdoor LLC, as part of a consortium called CityBridge LLC, in a high-profile, 12-year public communications structure franchise agreement with the City of New York to provide approximately 7,500 free WiFi kiosks at New York City pay phones and other structures. CityBridge, which also includes Comark Holdings, Control Group and Qualcomm, will install, operate and maintain the LinkNYC network, which will be the fastest free municipal WiFi network in the world. The agreement was announced on Nov. 17 and closed on Dec. 19.
