The Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) released its 2015 Pro Bono Recognition Roster, highlighting the outstanding pro bono contributions of law firms and corporations active in the Illinois community, and recognized Ropes & Gray for the firm’s outstanding pro bono work throughout 2014.

PILI honors Illinois-based law firms that satisfy at least two of the following criteria: have an average of 35 pro bono hours per legal professional; increase office pro bono hours in Illinois by at least 5% on the previous year; demonstrate that 60% or more of the firm’s Illinois attorneys are pro bono participants; participate in The Chicago Bar Foundation’s Law Firm Leadership Circle or PILI’s Illinois Pro Bono Pledge; take innovative steps to expand the firm’s pro bono program.

This is the second consecutive year in which the firm has been included on PILI’s pro bono roster.
