Ropes & Gray represented Blackstone in connection with the debt and equity financing related to Emdeon's agreement to acquire Altegra Health for approximately $910 million. Emdeon, a portfolio company of Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman, provides IT solutions and services to health care organizations. Altegra Health, based in Miami Lakes, Fla., provides technology-enabled payment solutions to health care organizations.
The acquisition, announced July 6, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2015.
