American Lawyer's Corporate Scorecard Ranks Ropes & Gray Among Most Active Transactional Practices

Ropes & Gray ranked among the top U.S. law firms for corporate transactional work in The American Lawyer’s 2016 Corporate Scorecard released March 28. The scorecard details the performance of firms with the most active corporate finance and capital markets practices.

Ropes & Gray is ranked second for buyouts by volume, with 44 issues and $21.4 billion in 2015 proceeds; fifth for equities by U.S. companies by volume, with 19 issues and $5.67 billion in 2015 proceeds; sixth for high-yield debt by volume, with 18 issues and $13.89 billion in 2015 proceeds; and sixth for initial public offerings by U.S. corporations, with 4 issues and $1.06 billion in 2015 proceeds.
