On March 14, 2016, the Investment Company Institute held their annual Mutual Funds & Investment Management Conference, also co-sponsored by the Federal Bar Association. Investment management partner John Loder (Boston) was featured on the conference’s opening panel titled “The Regulatory Outlook for Funds and Advisers” which discussed recent asset management regulatory initiatives and the Security and Exchange Commission’s plans for 2016. Mr. Loder, together with other industry experts on the panel, provided the audience with perspectives on the implications for funds and their shareholders of the latest regulatory developments as well as those on the horizon.
