On Wednesday, March 2, Ropes & Gray hosted a NYC Bar Association - Private Investment Funds Committee CLE Lunch at its New York City offices. Investment management counsel David Tittsworth (Washington, D.C.) presented a “View from Washington,” briefing attendees on current regulatory, legislative and policy issues for investment management firms. Mr. Tittsworth’s brief included an outline of the SEC’s current regulatory agenda for investment advisers, an overview of the DOL fiduciary re-proposal and issues to be considered should the SEC implement third-party “examinations” of investment advisers.
