Ropes & Gray is a proud sponsor of the 2016 World Medical Innovation Forum, held on April 25 – 27. In its second year, the World Medical Innovation Forum is a global gathering of more than 1,100 global health care leaders hosted by Partners HealthCare in Boston. The Forum was established to highlight the newest technologies, significant unmet needs and the evolving models of delivering care for the most complex diseases. The event brought together CEOs, investors, senior executives, entrepreneurs, physicians and scientists in the international cancer technology industry working together to improve global health care. The Forum focused on state-of-the-art and emerging approaches to diagnose, treat and manage cancer. This year, on April 25, Ropes & Gray hosted the Forum’s Welcome Reception followed by a Fireside Chat featuring Richard Gonzalez, CEO of AbbVie. Several Ropes & Gray attorneys attended the event including health care partner, Deborah Gersh (Chicago) and life sciences partners Steve Wilcox, Susan Galli and Michael Beauvais (all of Boston).
