Ropes & Gray acted as legal counsel for Berkshire Partners in its investment in Parts Town, a leading distributor of genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair and maintenance parts for the food service industry and provider of locally focused field service and technical support.
Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based investment firm, has raised nine private equity funds with more than $16 billion in aggregate capital and has made over 115 investments in primarily middle-market companies since its founding in 1986.
Terms of the transaction, announced June 30, were not disclosed.
