Ropes & Gray Launches HIPAA Audits Resource Center

Ropes & Gray has launched the Ropes & Gray HIPAA Audits Resource Center, an online HIPAA audits information source tapping the knowledge and experience of health care partners Deborah Gersh (Chicago) and Timothy McCrystal (Boston). 

The new microsite offers in-depth resources to help organizations with all aspects of HIPAA audits, and covers identifying and assessing risks related to the HIPAA Security Rule and OCR audit program, responding to HIPAA security rule audits and enforcement actions, and developing corrective action programs. The site provides OCR resources, and timely, in-depth analysis regarding HIPAA audits. It also answers questions concerning an organization’s risk, what HIPAA audits look like and how long they take, what auditors focus on, and how an organization can effectively prepare for an audit.
