Ropes & Gray advised leading private equity firm Berkshire Partners in its agreement to acquire Masergy from ABRY Partners. Masergy, based in Plano, Tex., owns and operates the largest independent software defined networking platform in the world, delivering hybrid networking, managed security and cloud communications solutions to global enterprises. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
