Ms. Bebchick brings to Ropes & Gray a broad-based practice handling commercial and real estate litigation and regulatory matters. She also adds to the firm’s deep bench handling bulge bracket bank litigation and regulatory work, a team led by a group of New York’s most established litigators and enforcement-focused partners.

Ropes & Gray’s clients will benefit from Ms. Bebchick’s extensive experience as the lead counsel in a broad range of commercial and real estate litigation matters in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. She also brings substantial regulatory experience including in government and internal investigations and parallel civil litigation, as well as significant high-profile forfeiture proceedings and related matters.

She joins Ropes & Gray from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP, where she worked with business & securities litigation partners David Hennes and Gregg Weiner, who joined Ropes & Gray in 2015.

“Ropes & Gray’s litigation practice in New York is thriving,” Ms. Bebchick said. “I am honored to be joining such a distinguished group of partners, including my former colleagues Gregg and David, and look forward to working with them to handle complex and significant matters for Ropes & Gray’s diverse and global client base.”

With approximately 350 lawyers in New York, Ropes & Gray is one of the 20 largest law firms in the city, where it has expanded its presence significantly over the last two years. In 2015, the firm welcomed three lateral partners in New York: mergers & acquisitions partner John Sorkin and Messrs. Hennes and Weiner as noted previously in this release.
