The New York office came out in full force and full color on May 31 for the J.P Morgan Corporate Challenge, a benefit event for the Central Park Conservancy. Nearly 100 Ropes & Gray attorneys and professional staff participated in the 3.5-mile race, running (or walking) a notably challenging course through Central Park. This year’s course marked a return to the event’s traditional length of 3.5 miles, up from 3.2 miles, and introduced a new challenge: a half-mile uphill section at the far northwest corner of the park.

“The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge is a wonderful celebration of corporate teamwork and community,” said Stefanie Birkmann, a partner in Ropes & Gray’s finance group. “The New York office was proud to participate and give back to our community by supporting the Central Park Conservancy.”

Ropes & Gray’s public service commitment is a hallmark of the firm, rooted in the example set by the firm’s founders nearly a century and a half ago. From pro bono legal counsel to community volunteerism, Ropes & Gray strives to make a positive social impact in its communities and support those who need it most.
