Ropes & Gray Advises DuPage Medical Group in a Strategic Partnership with Ares Management, L.P.

Ropes & Gray advised DuPage Medical Group in a strategic partnership with Ares Management, L.P., a global alternative asset management firm, pursuant to which Ares invested in DuPage Medical Group’s practice management company, DMG Practice Management Solutions. DuPage Medical Group is one of the nation’s largest independent, multi-specialty physician groups. As part of its investment, Ares also acquired Summit Partners’ stake in DMG Practice Management Solutions, and Summit will exit as an investment partner. The $1.45 billion transaction closed on August 15, 2017.
