Ropes & Gray Supports Women in Private Equity, Sponsors Private Markets Conference

Demonstrating the firm’s unwavering commitment to supporting women in law and business, Ropes & Gray—a Vault top 5 firm for diversity for women—was a sponsor of the 2017 Kayo Women’s Private Equity conference. The conference, which will be renamed the Women’s Private Markets Summit in 2018, brings together women and men who support the advancement of women in the asset management industry. During the Oct. 2 – 3 event, antitrust litigation partner Ruchit Patel moderated, and hedge funds partner Isabel Dische served as a panelist on, a discussion titled “Navigating the Regulatory Landscape in Private Equity”; private investment funds partner Debra Lussier spoke on a panel titled “What Matters to Private Equity LPs Today”; and private investment funds partner Amanda Persaud moderated a keynote panel titled “Institutional Investors’ Perspectives on PE.” More than 300 institutional investors, private equity investors, investment bankers, asset managers, credit investors and lenders, and industry advisors attended the conference.
