Ropes & Gray counseled TSG Consumer Partners, the prior majority owner of Planet Fitness, on its majority investment in Sunshine Fitness Management LLC and its affiliated entities. Sunshine Fitness is one of the largest franchisees of Planet Fitness clubs and currently operates 31 locations across Florida, Georgia and Alabama. The announcement was made December 14.
