Four attorneys who are well-established leaders in their fields have joined Ropes & Gray. They bring with them diverse knowledge and experience in key areas, including finance, government enforcement, intellectual property and international risk. They are based in offices in Hong Kong, New York and Washington, D.C., reflecting the firm’s global footprint.

Jackie Kahng

Ms. Kahng, a dual-qualified New York and Hong Kong finance lawyer with a focus on borrower-side financing work, has joined as a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office. She advises private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as other corporate borrowers and issuers, on their financing needs across a range of jurisdictions, including China, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Singapore and South Korea.

Ms. Adams joined the litigation & enforcement practice in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office in November. Her deep experience navigating U.S. trade relations has significantly expanded the firm’s anti-corruption and international risk capabilities. Her practice focuses on international transactions and the U.S. government’s regulation of trade and global investment.

 

Scott McKeown

Scott McKeown

Mr. McKeown joined Ropes & Gray in August 2017 as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and chair of the firm’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board practice. Named a leading patent practitioner for post-grant proceedings by Intellectual Asset Management, Mr. McKeown focuses on post-grant patent counseling and litigation matters at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and related appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
