As the one-year mark since the U.S. Supreme Court’s TC Heartland decision passed, IP litigation counsel Andrew Radsch (Silicon Valley) discussed in Bloomberg Law’s Patent, Trademark and Copyright Journal the decision’s impact on patent litigation strategy.

While the Supreme Court’s TC Heartland v. Kraft decision did not apply to foreign defendants, Mr. Radsch notes that some plaintiffs have become more careful since the ruling to take advantage of the looser patent infringement venue rules for foreign defendants.
