Life sciences partner Kellie Combs (Washington, D.C.) was quoted in a May 23 article in Medical Marketing & Media that discusses how healthcare marketing has changed under the Trump administration.
Ms. Combs, who represents the Medical Information Working Group, a coalition of drug and medical-device makers, was a speaker on “The FDA in the Gottlieb Era,” panel addressing off-label drug communication at the Coalition for Healthcare Communication’s Rising Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C.
She explains that the rules on off-label communication between drug manufacturers and payers have been unclear, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is trying to clarify these rules.
