Avista Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm, has acquired a controlling interest in Kramer Laboratories Inc., a marketer of over-the-counter foot care and specialty cough products. The transaction was completed on May 1.
Kramer, based in Coral Gables, Fla., is a well-established marketer of branded over-the-counter medicines within the foot care and cough-cold segments of the consumer healthcare market.
