Health care partner Tom Bulleit (Washington, D.C.) was quoted in a July 19 article in Modern Healthcare. The article reports that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General sent for White House review a new rule related to safe harbor legal protections for drug rebates.
Mr. Bulleit explains that while changes could result in lower out-of-pocket costs to consumers for some drugs, he does not think they will result in lower list prices for drugmakers.
