Privacy & cybersecurity partner Rohan Massey co-authored an article published by Thomson Reuters’ Computer and Telecommunications Law Review. The piece examines a recent report from the United Kingdom Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) regarding “internet of things” (IoT) security, privacy and safety.

According to Mr. Massey, “The report advocates a fundamental shift in approach by moving the burden away from consumers having to secure their internet-connected devices as an afterthought and towards embedding security in the design process itself: secure by design and privacy by default, following the NCSC Secure by Default paradigm and ensuring GDPR compliance.”
