Ropes & Gray Acts as Legal Counsel to Webster Capital on Fund IV

Ropes & Gray served as legal counsel to Webster Capital on its latest fund, Webster Capital IV. The Fund, which announced its final close on August 30, closed at its hard cap of $875 million, exceeding its initial target of $650 million.

The fundraising was oversubscribed and received commitments from both new and returning limited partners, including leading institutions from Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. The Fund will invest in branded consumer and healthcare service companies across the North American lower middle market.

Webster Capital, founded in 2003, is a private equity firm that focuses on branded consumer and healthcare services companies.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by private investment funds attorney Arthur Andersen III and included private investment funds partners Larry Jordan Rowe and Debra Lussier, tax partner Jim Brown, ERISA partner Joshua Lichtenstein, private investment funds associate Yonatan Levy, tax associate Kathryn Seevers and ERISA associate Alexa Voskerichian.
