In a Feb. 5 piece published by Secondaries Investor titled “RE secondaries volumes drop 12% amid fewer big portfolio sales,” asset management partner Isabel Dische discusses the real estate secondaries transactions market. “We are seeing an increasing number of structured secondaries which don’t involve a fund at the end of its life,” Ms. Dische outlined. Ms. Dische also noted that “the conversation is beginning to widen away from recapitalisations towards more sophisticated transactions, including spin-outs and fundless sponsor restructurings.” The article was also featured in their sister publication, PERE.
