Ropes & Gray represented Penn Foster, which partners with leading employers to attract, develop, and retain talent for middle-skill jobs, in its acquisition of Ashworth College, a nationally-accredited online institution offering degree and certificate programs in fast-growing fields, as well as high school diplomas. The combination of the two institutions will enable Ashworth College to deepen its collaboration with employer partners in ways that allow its students to expand their opportunities and career pathways. The transaction was announced on Feb. 6.
