Private equity partner Carolyn Vardi (New York) discussed on “Bloomberg Markets: The Close” an array of conditions impacting private equity transactions—from activist strategies, to valuations and financing.
“Private Equity is finding a lot of areas of the market right now that work very, very well for it,” Ms. Vardi said on the broadcast. “There’s been a lot of resources flowing into the activist strategies, and, in part, it results in companies coming to market and therefore running into the open arms of private equity investors quite quickly; they’re getting access to assets that they may not have otherwise have access to.”
