Colleen Conry Named Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner

Global law firm Ropes & Gray is pleased to announce that litigation & enforcement partner Colleen Conry has been named office managing partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Conry, a former federal prosecutor, has extensive experience in representing multinational corporations and their executives in government investigations as well as criminal prosecutions. 

Litigation & enforcement partner Alex Rene, who served as Washington, D.C. office managing partner, has been named a practice group leader for the firm’s global litigation & enforcement practice. Also a former federal prosecutor, Mr. Rene has extensive experience representing corporate entities and their executives in connection with litigation and investigations arising out of white collar criminal prosecutions, grand jury investigations, criminal antitrust investigations, and corporate compliance matters.

Both Ms. Conry and Mr. Rene were named to The Washingtonian’s “Washington, D.C.’s Best Lawyers, Criminal Defense-White Collar” in 2018.
