A Ropes & Gray team is representing Genstar Capital in its agreement to acquire Advarra from Linden Capital Partners. Advarra is a provider of institutional review board, institutional biosafety committee, and research quality and compliance services. Genstar is a leading private equity firm focused on investments in targeted segments of the healthcare, software, industrial technology, and financial services industries. As part of the transaction Linden Capital Partners intends to reinvest in Advarra via a minority investment upon completion of the transaction.
