Ropes & Gray Advises Arrow Capital Partners on €2 Billion Logistics Portfolio JV with Cerberus

Ropes & Gray has advised Arrow Capital Partners, an international investor and operator of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, on its Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) joint venture with US private equity real estate fund Cerberus to acquire and manage, for long-term purposes, a c. €2 billion portfolio of industrial and urban logistics properties across Europe.

The platform will focus on urban infill locations across Europe’s major cities and strategic transport hubs that are benefitting from structural trends in urbanisation and e-commerce growth, specifically targeting Germany, Benelux, UK, Italy and Spain, as well as the Nordics, France and Central Europe.

The SIRE strategy is to acquire and aggregate single assets ranging from €5 million to €100 million and portfolios between €10 million and €500 million and is already in exclusivity on seven acquisitions totaling €130 million across four countries, with an extensive pipeline of opportunities being progressed. The joint venture will be led by Katherine Parker, Partner at Arrow Capital Partners.
