Ropes & Gray Advises Bridgepoint and HKA on HKA’s Acquisition of The Kenrich Group

Ropes & Gray has advised Bridgepoint and its portfolio company, HKA, on the acquisition by HKA of The Kenrich Group, a US-based business and litigation consulting firm. It is the first time that Ropes & Gray has advised Bridgepoint on a standalone US acquisition. 

The combination of HKA – already one of the world’s leading providers of consulting, expert and advisory services for the construction and engineering industry – and The Kenrich Group will create one of the largest construction claims consultancies in the US, focusing on commercial damages, government contract claims and regulated utilities consulting. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. 

The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Helen Croke, based in London, supported by private equity associate Nick Matthew (London, on secondment in New York).
