Ropes & Gray Advises Audax Private Equity on its Acquisition of Kofile Inc.

Ropes & Gray advised Audax Private Equity, a leading alternative investment manager, on its acquisition of Kofile, Inc., the largest provider of information management and access systems solutions to U.S. government agencies. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on February 5. The press release is here.

Founded in 2009, Kofile provides restoration, preservation, and digitization services for critical government records, as well as cloud-native software solutions for digital records management and citizen engagement. Audax Private Equity has invested over $5 billion in more than 130 platforms and over 825 add-on companies, and is currently investing out of its $3.5 billion, sixth private equity fund.
