Ropes & Gray Advises BV Investment Partners on Fund X with Capital Commitments of $1.1 Billion
A Ropes & Gray team advised BV Investment Partners on its latest private equity fund, Fund X. Fund X announced on March 2 that it successfully completed its first and final close at its hard cap of $1.1 billion.
BV Investment Partners is a middle-market private equity firm focused on the tech-enabled business services, software and IT services sectors. The Fund had a $1 billion target and received limited partner commitments in excess of its $1.1 billion hard cap. Fund X's investor base includes mostly existing investors from a broad range of leading global foundations, public and corporate pension plans, financial institutions, family offices and individual investors, including management of past portfolio companies.
The Ropes & Gray team advising BV Investment Partners on Fund X was led by asset management partner Debra Lussier and included tax partner Amanda Holt, asset management associates Sean Foley and Stanford Law, and tax associates Kathryn Seevers and Michael Shulman.
