Ropes & Gray advised Genstar Capital in the recapitalization of its portfolio company ConnectiveRx, a leading provider of technology-enabled biopharmaceutical services. The transaction was announced on March 10. The press release is here.

Genstar will continue as majority investor in ConnectiveRx, and will be joined by funds managed by Harvest Partners SCF, LP and funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities as minority investors. Genstar Capital is a leading private equity firm focused on investments in targeted segments of the financial services, healthcare, industrial, and software industries.

The Ropes & Gray team that advised Genstar was led by private equity partners Howard Glazer (San Francisco) and Michael Lee (Boston), and included tax partner Lee E. Allison (New York) and litigation & enforcement partner Gregg Weiner (New York).
