Asset Management Partner Tom Alabaster Discusses Co-Investment Trends in Real Deals

“There has been an uptick in non-traditional co-investment deals. Primary fund investors have come in to provide top-up funding for selected assets in GP portfolios and we have also seen a flurry of single asset deals,” says Tom. “Some GPs have been reluctant to exit, so have turned to the secondaries market, which has been willing to take on single assets from funds and then offer further co-investment for these deals."
