Labor & employment partner Doug Brayley continues to be sought after for his insights on Covid vaccine mandates and workplace protocols by both Ropes & Gray clients and the national news media. Doug was quoted in two recent New York Times articles examining employers’ COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

In DealBook on December 17, he noted that he has seen some employers pause the rollout of their vaccine mandates after OSHA’s rule requiring all private employers with 100 or more employees to be vaccinated or tested weekly was stayed in the courts. “Inevitably it’s going to go to the Supreme Court, but I’m sure they’ll try to move it as fast as they can,” he said. In the print edition of the Times on December 20, Doug notes that companies may be reluctant to mandate the booster shot when they faced pushback from employees when they mandated the initial, two-dose vaccine protocol.
