Ropes & Gray Attorneys Selected as Members of The Leadership Council on Diversity’s 2021 Programs
Ropes & Gray asset management associate Melicia Morris and private capital transactions associate Nia Oates have been selected to participate in this year’s Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder program. Separately, real estate counsel Chrystal LaRoche has been selected as the Ropes & Gray participant in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Fellows program. The LCLD is an organization made up of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners focused on building a more open and diverse legal profession.
The LCLD Pathfinder program is comprised of diverse, high-potential attorneys at the beginning of their careers who are looking to develop practical skills and tools. The goal of the program is to help foster internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies that is applicable to both in-house and law firm practice among its participants.
The LCLD Fellows program is designed for diverse, high-potential attorneys, at the middle of their careers. Similar to the Pathfinders program, the Fellows program aims to provide participants with professional and personal development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building skills and access to the LCLD network of attorneys.
