Ropes & Gray Represents Charlesbank Capital Partners in its Agreement to Acquire Box Partners
Ropes & Gray represented Charlesbank Capital Partners LLC in its agreement to acquire Box Partners, which is based in Elgin, Illinois and describes itself as the nation’s largest wholesaler of packaging, shipping and industrial supplies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on Dec. 14 in a press release.
Based in Boston and New York, Charlesbank Capital Partners is a middle-market private investment firm with more than $15 billion of capital raised since inception. Focused on management-led buyouts and growth capital financings, the firm seeks to build companies with sustainable competitive advantage and excellent prospects for growth.
