Ropes & Gray advised Heartland Dental in its acquisition of American Dental Partners Incorporated. Terms of the transaction, which was announced on May 14, were not disclosed. The press release is here. 

Heartland Dental is the nation’s largest dental support organization providing non-clinical, administrative support services to over 1,000 dental offices across 38 states. Heartland Dental was founded in 1997 by Rick Workman, DMD and is based in Effingham, Illinois. ADPI is a Wakefield, Massachusetts based dental support organization that supports 23 dental group practices spanning 278 locations across 21 states.
