Ropes & Gray advised Audax Private Equity in its acquisition of a majority stake GCX Mounting Solutions. Terms of the transaction, announced on Sept. 20, were not disclosed. The press release is here. 

GCX, based in Petaluma, CA, is the global leader in the design and manufacturing of healthcare-focused equipment mounting and mobility solutions. The Audax Group is a leading alternative investment manager with offices in Boston, New York, and San Francisco. The firm’s Private Equity business has invested over $7 billion in more than 140 platforms and is currently investing out of its $3.5 billion sixth private equity fund.
