Ropes & Gray Advises Bain Capital in Closure of $2 billion ‘Special Situation Fund’
Ropes & Gray advised Bain Capital LP in the closing of a $2 billion “special situation fund” for the Asia-Pacific region. The Bain Capital Special Situations Asia Fund II was closed with total capital commitments of more than $2 billion, exceeding the original target of $1.5 billion.
The Ropes & Gray team that advised Bain Capital was led by asset management partners Justin Kliger and Peter Laybourn, and included asset management associate Young Yoon, tax partners James Brown and Alyssa Kollmeyer.
