Ropes & Gray Advises Blackstone on $6.4 Billion Acquisition of Crown Resorts Australia
Ropes & Gray has advised Blackstone Mortgage Trust and Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies in the financing of its $6.4 billion acquisition of the Crown Resorts luxury hotel and casino portfolio in Australia, one of Australia’s largest entertainment groups. The transaction was announced on June 24 in a press release.
A major contributor to the Australian economy. Crown’s core businesses include two of Australia’s leading resorts, Crown Melbourne and Crown Perth, and Sydney’s tallest building, Crown Sydney.
