Ropes & Gray Represents Sixth Street in its $150 Million Series C Investment in ConcertAI at a Valuation of $1.9 Billion

Ropes & Gray represented Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, in its $150 million Series C equity investment in Concert AI, LLC, a provider of enterprise AI and real-world data solutions for the life sciences and healthcare industries. The investment was made at a valuation for ConcertAI of $1.9 billion. The announcement was made on March 29 in a press release. 

Started five years ago, ConcertAI has emerged as one of the fastest-growing companies providing high-value software-as-a-service (SaaS) and data solutions to life sciences and biopharma companies, leading healthcare providers and regulators in the US, Europe, and Japan.  ConcertAI’s solutions improve time on therapy, reduce time for study design, and reduce clinical trial execution time for its customers and their patients. Sixth Street is a global investment firm with over $60 billion in assets under management and committed capital.

The team that represented Sixth Street was led by private equity partner Matthew Richards (Chicago), and included tax partner Jim Brown (New York), health care partner Christine Moundas (New York), life sciences regulatory & compliance partner Kellie Combs (Washington, D.C.), and IP transactions partner Megan Baca (Silicon Valley).
