Ropes & Gray Named to The American Lawyer’s “A-List” of Top Firms

Ropes & Gray was named to The American Lawyer’s annual “A-List” ranking of 20 leading law firms, announced in the magazine’s July 2011 issue.

“We are honored to join this list of the most respected firms in the country and are particularly gratified that the recognition is based on some of our most important values as a firm,” said Ropes & Gray chairman Brad Malt. “Every day we strive to help our clients meet their greatest challenges, create an exemplary work environment and give back to our communities. The list, which was created “in an effort to assess (and rank) the nation’s largest and most prominent law firms in a holistic way,” according to the magazine’s editors, recognizes the top 20 firms based on four measures which serve as proxies to quantify attorney diversity, pro bono work, associate satisfaction and firm performance.
