Ropes & Gray is No. 1 in Private Equity Analyst Rankings on Number of Funds
The firm earned the top spot in Private Equity Analyst’s 2011 list of “the most active law firms by number of funds,” announced in the publication’s March edition. The firm’s lawyers advised general partners and limited partners in the formation and review of a total 424 funds in 2011. Ropes & Gray has one of the largest and most sophisticated private investment funds practices in the world advising clients on leveraged buyout funds, funds of funds, CDO funds and mezzanine funds among others.
